We’ve been humbled by the outpouring of support we’ve received for our proposed merger and our vision to build a new approach to healthcare for our region. Over the past few months, many members of our community have expressed their support through our website, in letters to the editor and editorials in local papers, at community meetings, and more.
Many academic, business and community leaders, physicians, elected officials and others, such as East Tennessee State University, the local Chambers of Commerce, Eastman Chemical Company and the Tennessee Medical Association have also shared why they believe our proposed merger is the right, local solution to tackling our region’s healthcare needs both today and in the years to come.
